16
Thesethingsunderstoodnothisdisciples at the first:butwhenJesus was glorified, then remembered theythat these thingswerewrittenofhim, and that they had done these things unto him.
17
The peopletherefore that waswithhimwhen he calledLazarus out of his grave, andraisedhimfrom the dead, bare record.
18
For thiscause the peoplealsomethim, for that they heardthat he had donethismiracle.
19
The Phariseesthereforesaidamongthemselves, Perceive yehow ye prevailnothing*? behold, the world is goneafterhim.

The samecametherefore to Philip, which was ofBethsaida of Galilee, anddesiredhim, saying, Sir, we wouldseeJesus.
23
AndJesusansweredthem, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified.

26
If any manserveme, let him followme;andwhereIam, thereshallalsomyservantbe*: if any manserveme, himwill my Fatherhonour.

Nowismysoultroubled; andwhat shall I say? Father, savemefromthishour:but for thiscause came Iuntothishour.

ThenJesussaid unto them,Yet a littlewhileis the lightwithyou.Walkwhile ye have the light, lestdarkness come uponyou:for he that walkethindarknessknowethnotwhither he goeth.
36
While ye havelight, believein the light, that ye may be the children of light. These thingsspakeJesus, and departed, and did hide himselffromthem.
37
But though he had done so manymiraclesbeforethem, yet they believednotonhim:
38
That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believedourreport?and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed?

He hath blindedtheireyes, andhardenedtheirheart;that they shouldnotsee with their eyes, norunderstand with their heart, and be converted, and I should healthem.
41
These thingssaidEsaias,when he sawhisglory,andspakeofhim.
42
Nevertheless*among the chief rulersalsomanybelievedonhim;butbecause of the Pharisees they didnotconfess him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue:
43
For they loved the praise of menmorethan the praise of God.
44
Jesuscriedandsaid, He that believethonme, believethnotonme, buton him that sentme.
